Meet the Founder
Layla Kyle Hopkins
Born in the UK and raised in Germany’s Black Forest, I was always drawn to the unknown. After studying tourism in the Netherlands, living in Spain, and traveling through Europe, I moved to Colombia in 2014 for a job in tourism.
As they say here, “El único riesgo es que te quieras quedar” (The only risk is wanting to stay)—and that’s exactly what happened. Colombia got under my skin in the best way, and I’ve been exploring its corners ever since.
After over 10 years in the tourism industry, I finally launched Unique Adventure Travel—a long-held idea to share Colombia’s bold beauty, raw nature, and real stories with people who crave more than the usual.
