This immersive experience offers a perfect blend of movement practice, relaxation, and connection with nature in a stunning setting.
Leading your Animal Flow journey throughout the Caribbean Immersion is Marty Dzian, a Lithuanian movement artist and certified instructor in both Animal Flow and Budokon Yoga, trained in London and now based in the creative mountain town of Barichara, Colombia. With a professional background in dance, Marty brings an expressive, fluid quality to every session, blending disciplines in a way that feels both grounded and playful.
Marty's classes are a dynamic synthesis of Animal Flow, Budokon mobility, calisthenics, and yoga, designed not just to move your body—but to awaken it. He emphasizes mindful coordination, control, and rhythm through ground-based movement, functional drills, and creative sequencing. His background in dance brings a unique fluency to his teaching, where transitions feel smooth and powerful, and the body becomes a storytelling tool.
While Animal Flow takes center stage in the retreat, Marty seamlessly weaves in elements of Budokon, offering martial-arts inspired transitions and strength-based postural control that challenge both body and mind. His sessions often include coordination games and group-based flows, creating a fun and engaging container for deep practice, connection, and exploration.
Expect a balance of strength, agility, mobility, and breath-led presence—all set to the rhythm of the Caribbean, with sessions unfolding just steps from the ocean. Whether you’re new to movement arts or looking to deepen your practice, Marty´s guidance offers a powerful immersion into the flow state—on the mat, in the sand, and within your own body.
