By booking a tour with Unique Adventure Travel (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), you (hereinafter referred to as "the Participant") agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully before making a booking.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking.
1.2 Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 60 days before the tour start date.
1.3 Failure to Pay: Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
2.1 Cancellation by Participant:
Cancellations made more than 60 days before the tour start date are eligible for a refund minus the deposit.
Cancellations made within 59 days of the tour start date are non-refundable.
2.2 Cancellation by the Company:
The Company reserves the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or insufficient bookings. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.
2.3 No-Show Policy:
No refunds will be given for participants who fail to appear on the scheduled tour start date.
3. Changes to Itinerary
3.1 Flexibility: The Company operates in remote and unpredictable environments. The itinerary is subject to change due to weather, safety concerns, or local conditions.
3.2 Participant Responsibility: Participants must accept that delays, alterations, or cancellations may occur and agree not to hold the Company liable for any resulting inconvenience or expenses.
4. Traveler Responsibilities
4.1 Health and Fitness:
The Participant is responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit for the tour.
Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed to the Company at the time of booking.
4.2 Insurance Requirement:
Participants are required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for adventure activities, medical emergencies, and trip cancellations. Proof of insurance must be submitted before the tour start date.
4.3 Safety and Conduct:
Participants must adhere to safety instructions provided by the Company’s guides.
The Company reserves the right to remove participants from the tour for disruptive or unsafe behavior without refund.
5. Liability

The Participant acknowledges that adventure activities carry inherent risks, including injury, illness, or loss of property.

The Company is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages sustained during the trip, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
5.3 Third-Party Services
The Company acts as a coordinator for services such as accommodation, transportation, and activities provided by third parties. While we carefully select our partners, the Company is not responsible for any issues arising from third-party services, including delays, cancellations, or dissatisfaction with the services provided.
5.4 Waiver Requirement
Participants are required to sign a waiver acknowledging their understanding of the inherent risks associated with the activities and releasing the Company from liability, except in cases of gross negligence.
6. Travel Documents
6.1 Passport and Visas:
It is the Participant’s responsibility to ensure they have valid passports, visas, and other required documentation.
6.2 Vaccinations:
Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet health requirements for the destination, including necessary vaccinations or prophylactics.
7. Equipment and Belongings
7.1 Personal Belongings:
The Company is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the tour.
7.2 Equipment Use:
Any equipment provided by the Company must be used responsibly. Participants are liable for damage caused due to misuse.
8. Governing Law
8.1 Jurisdiction:
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Colombia.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Colombia.
9. Force Majeure
9.1 The Company shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, or political instability.
10. Photo and Media Release
10.1 By participating in the tour, the Participant grants the Company permission to use photographs or videos taken during the tour for promotional purposes.
10.2 If the Participant does not wish to be included in such media, they must notify the Company in writing before the tour begins.
11. Complaints and Feedback
11.1 Complaints must be brought to the attention of the Company during the tour to allow for prompt resolution.
11.2 Feedback and testimonials are welcome and may be shared with the Company after the tour.
